Pantech Introduces the Vega S5
Pantech has introduced the latest line of Vega smartphone: the Vega S5.
The Vega S5, with its 5-inch high definition, looks set to compete with Samsung Galaxy Note in the field of hybrid phone-tablet. The device will be launched in South Korea, and there has been no announcement about an international release.
TheVega S5 has a screen resolution of 1280 x 720, and Pantech shows off its frame, such as thinner than any smartphone for that size in HD. Inside, there is a dual core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon S44G LTE support, along with a 13mp camera. The Vega S5 incorporates a 2100mAh battery allowing 11 hours of talk time.
The Vega S5 will launch with Android 4.0, which includes Smart Voice, Pantech’s own voice assistant software. It is unclear whether the phone also includes gesture recognition technologies that Pantech has been shown earlier in their smartphones.
