Lamborghini Presents Two Android Devices
The Lamborghini cars have always been synonymous with speed, aggression, mighty diamonds, and strong emotions. Any of the home-baked car in the last year is capable of giving great emotions. To be more precise, they provide an experience: the selling price, which makes them accessible only to a small group of people who is very wealthy and can afford the purchase and maintenance of such jewels of engineering.
Even Lamborghini, however, is not without charm of the mobile world and so far suggests two Android products that are very unusual: a tablet and a smartphone.
The Lamborghini TL700 is a smartphone with Sapphire Crystal screen 3.7-inch WVGA (800 × 480), unspecified Qualcomm processor, 4GB of internal memory, a battery of 1400mAh, 5 megapixel rear camera, front camera and record video in VGA resolution. The device runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.
The special feature of this smartphone, however, is not in its technical characteristics: it is the realization of the body in gold and crocodile leather (sigh). A unique treatment that brings the price up to an amount of €2200. Certainly, the design is unique and sought after, putting the smartphone over the mass of more or less anonymous smartphone on the market. But, it really seems a little too much.
Next, is the Lamborghini L2800, a tablet with Sapphire Crystal screen of 9.7 inches with 1024 × 768 (the same as the iPAD), an undefined Qualcomm processor 1.2GHz, 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal memory , microSD slot and a 5 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front camera. As for the batter, it is 7500mAh .
At the moment, there is Android 2.3 Gingerbread on the device, but should soon get an upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The tablet is made of gold and leather. Although not made of gold, this tablet will cost €1850—perhaps due to the use of special materials—as suggested by the back with an unusual texture.
