Galaxy S3 Mockups Reach the Web
Ever wondered what the successor of the Galaxy S2 will look like and what’s it going to feature under the hood? So far there’s no confirmation from the producer, but Russian website VKontakte.ru (specialized in doing product “interpretations”) has come up with a mock-up of the Galaxy S3.
Codenamed Galaxy GT-I9500, rumors have it that it feature a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The particularity is that the terminal can be fitted with both Android and Samsung’s OS, Bada 4 — a very cool tactical move from Samsung, because now the Galaxy S is known as much as (perhaps more) the iPhone, so that may get people more interested.
Other stuff include a quad-core 1.5GHz (Samsung Exynos 4412) processor and the TouchWiz 5 user interface. The phone has a much better camera — compared to its predecessor. It’s a 12 mega-pixel camera with LED flash. It also has support for 4G LTE technology, NFC, USB 3.0 and a metal casing.
However, we repeat that this is not the Galaxy S3 (not a formal version anyhow) but a leaked mock up. Or could it be a very good marketing strategy to get us all drooling?
