Dual-Sim Samsung Galaxy Smartphones Announced: Galaxy Duo Y & Galaxy Pro Duo Y
Samsung have announced the release of two new Galaxy series smartphones. The new mobiles are very similar to models presented this summer, with the difference of being able to use two SIM cards, perfect for those who want to have both the personal number and their business number on the same device.
Unfortunately there’s no word on the price of these new products even if it is not hard to pinpoint the band. Their name is Galaxy Y Duo and Galaxy Y Pro Duo — the first is a 3.14-inch full touch screen with a resolution of 240 x 320, the second has a QWERTY keyboard with a 2.14 inch screen.
Hardware features are identical, and we’re talking of a single-core 832 MHz processor, 4GB of ROM, 3GB of RAM plus 2GB internal microSD card slot and microSD expandable up to 32 GB. They are equipped with A-GPS and all wireless connections, and run Android 2.3 Gingerbread .
Samsung continues to make full use of the name Galaxy, diversifying their series with the letter which also identifies the market segment belonging, running from M, L, R, S with the top up record-breaking performance. The roll out for the Y series starts from Russia, then the rest of Europe, Latin America, South-West Asia, Middle East and Africa.
